Feeding Ducks

So I had some bread that went a little moldy, and instead of throwing it away I thought it would be fun to go to Spring Lake and feed the ducks, so we did. I couldn't believe ALL the ducks! Usually when we go feed the ducks they are already full and don't care much because everyone else and their dog has already fed them. Well this time the ducks were about to eat us if we didn't feed them! It was kinda scary. We had to feed them from the car!
BTW - Watch out for geese!

We drove around to another part of the lake so we could get out and feed them and all those ducks followed us and then started to come up to the car again. It was funny cause Devyn came running and screaming.

So back to feeding from the car we went!

(Please don't mind that I kept calling Jacob, Ethan)

Ethan was scared and hiding in the back of the car.

Radio Disney

Devyn, Ethan and I went up to Salt Lake today to an early intervention thing and Radio Disney came too. We met there with some cousins so the kids could have fun. Devyn loved dancing to her favorite songs from High School Musical, and Hannah Montana, with the Radio Disney Dancers. They had a lot of free activities going on and Devyn LOVED it!

Jacob Fishing Again!

One of Jacobs favorite things is to go fishing with his dad. Today Dan took Jacob and Grandpa Myron fishing up Payson Lakes. They had a lot of fun

Modest Modeling Show

Hopefully noone is upset with me, but I couldn't help myself. This was pretty funny. We dressed up immodestly to teach the Young Women about being modest. It was pretty funny. Here is some of our immodest pictures. If you know these people, I'm sure you'll enjoy these pictures more.

excessive piercings and a gothic.

Bowling

Dan took Jacob bowling. We award the kids with stickers and once they get 100 stickers we take them out to do something fun of their choice. Jacob wanted to go bowling so Dan took him. He had so much fun he has been doing so many extra jobs because he wants to go bowling again.

Chicken Noodle Soup

When we used to live in our old house Grandpa Myron used to come and get Devyn and take her on a walk to the gas station for a grab bag. Since we moved we have missed our frequent visits with Grandpa. Since we moved he calls us to invite us for Family Trees Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup. They almost always have their yummy Chicken Noodle soup on Tuesdays. So this last Tuesday Grandpa called us up for soup. It's always fun to have soup with Grandpa and something the kids will always remember I'm sure.

Topaz Mountain

For a fun little day trip my brother took my mom & his family out to Topaz Mountain to search for Topaz. Dan and I decided to tag along. It was a fun little experience. Right when we pulled in this guy came up to us and and was telling us the best places to find Topaz in the area. I think if we never saw him we may have gone all the way out there and never found a single piece of topaz. He has a mine claim there and doesn't like to work on the weekends because there are so many people. But he showed us all of his finds from all over the states. He makes jewelry with his jewels and sells them. I wonder if he may of not wasted his time with us if he knew we weren't going to purchase any of his jewels. But he was a nice man with four little dogs that the kids loved to play with. And they found his sparkly stones pretty amazing. So besides the long drive, I think the kids had fun. It's always fun getting together with cousins. And something new to try. We like our jewels, but just because we found them. Maybe Dan will make me a nice diamond looking ring with one! The funnest part was watching my mom get excited like a little kid. I think she enjoyed herself.

Silly Girls!

Here we are looking for brown topaz. You have to dig for it. Its a lot harder to find. They do later turn clear like the topaz we found. I didn't find any brown topaz, My mom, Tyree and Mark did though. I was tired of looking for Topaz by then. :)
