Pioneer Day!

For the 24th we headed to the Fiesta Days Parade and then to the huge reunion with 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th cousins and possibly more I have no idea who most of the people are but it's nice to get lunch and visit with the few people you do know. There are some who entertain the kids, they loved it. It was like a big birthday party to them.

Then in the Evening we always have the strong family parade. Here is Ethan with my dad. They pulled the trailer with the 4 wheeler Devyn and her friend rode their bikes and Dan and I pulled the handcart. We do this every year in my parents neighborhood. Our parade isn't even a block long, But the kids love it. Plus they look forward to the free cotton candy and snowcones there too.

Bear Lake 2009

Well we enjoyed another year with Dan's family at Bear Lake! It was so much fun and time went by too fast. We spent Monday - Saturday and I could've staying longer. It was such a great vacation!

Following I have many posts of our week.

Four Wheeling

Joe & Mischele and Dan & I went on a nice long four wheeling ride. We went up the top of the mountains where it was just beautiful. Lots of tall skinny pines and meadows with wildflowers. We saw a Moose, a Red Tail Hawk and a couple four legged creatures. (I don't know what they were, I didn't get a good look before they dissappered in the trees) But it creeped me out a little.

A nice view of the lake

(We usually see one of these up there every year)

Isn't it beautiful?

(This is where we saw the four legged creatures)

Golfing

So it's been many years since I have golfed. The wifes tagged along with the husbands and we had fun playing. I'm telling ya, it's not my sport at all but we had fun playing. When I would loose a ball (Yes, I hit it far enough a few times to actually loose them) I would usually find someone else's lost ball. So it was good.

I was trying so hard to keep my feet solid, I kept trying to step my feet like I was swinging a baseball bat. It took me a few swings to get the ball off the ground. But I did have a few good hits during our nine holes of golf.

Dan actually hit the ball

Michelle carrying the clubs, I left them for Dan to carry.

Joe found more than one way to use a golf club.

Bloomington Lake

We took an afternoon to drive up Bloomington Canyon and then took a short hike up to Bloomington Lake. It was a beautiful place. The drive there was very pretty and also the hike. Therefore I took a lot of pictures while we were there.
