Making Applesauce

So I came home from Young Womens last week and Dan and started peeling and cutting up apples so we could make applesauce. We have never done this before so it was quite an experiment. Luckily our friends Noah and Kaila showed us an easy way to peel the apples. So thanks to them! This is for you guys!

Gingerbread Houses

On Sunday my family got together and made our annual gingerbread houses. The kids always have blast making them. We made them a little earlier this year. I'm thinking about possibly putting up the tree before Thanksgiving this year. This would be a first, but why not?

All Ethan wants to do is be outside. His thing lately is to take all the cars outside and play with them in the dirt. He is filthy everyday and he tracks in so much dirt. But once the snow falls I'm sure the snowpants will be on and off all day long, that will drive crazy!

This kid will not take a nap during the day, but sometimes he happens to fall asleep in wierd places. Here he is sleeping at the bar.
While Dan and I were downstairs working on the basement, Ethan was watching a movie. It looks like he got into my purse and found my gum but didn't get it chewed up before he fell asleep.

Pajama Gladiator

Dans brother designed the characters for a short movie they did in college and it was chosen out of several thousand others to be voted upon at the Nicktoons Network Animation Festival. It won Producers choice and Viewers Choice. It's pretty good so I thought I would share it with you guys. They should really start up a cartoon company. The next Pixar films.

Here is somemore time with the family on Halloween. It's always fun to see everyones costumes, eat and visit. The kids also enjoy being with their cousins.

So my sister is pretty amazing. Her boy wanted to be a skeleton but she didn't like how the costumes were so thin and cold. So she bought sweats and handpainted a skeleton on them. She did it all freehand too. Pretty amazing.

Firetruck Ride

Have you ever been riding in a firetruck?

It's pretty fun. We are lucky to have a couple firefighters in the family so we went for a short little firetruck ride on Halloween.
