This year has flown by so fast. I just can't believe it! Devyn is now a Kindergarten graduate and she is so proud of that. She keeps telling everyone "I'm officially a first grader now" Here is some pictures of her big day.It made her so happy that Auntie Brookie brought her some flowers.

Ms Baird and Devyn Devyn will sure miss her teacher. She thinks she is the BEST! She has really learned a lot this year! We love her school! Something really neat is she won the "Narnia Award" They choose a King and Queen in each class for this award. The award is for instilling Accountablility, Responsibility, and Respect. They take their picture and hang it in the halls of the school forever. She won the award and she is so proud of that.

Memorial Day

Every year on Memorial Day we get together with our family and have breakfast at Salem Pond. This year we moved it to Uncle Niels because of the wonderful rain. It was nice to visit with everyone since we only get together a couple times a year.

(Grandma always stirred the hot chocolate,
I have several pictures of her stirring it every year)

Sleeping Out

The night after we got the trampline in the ground the boys had a sleep over on it. I was a little worried about my little boys outside all night, but they had a lot of fun.

We did it!

Okay, a lot of people think we are crazy! But I can't tell you how happy I am to have this finished. I have wanted our trampoline in the ground for a VERY long time. Well we decided it might be easier to bury it before the fence is installed. So Yesterday we dug! I came home from a library meeting and Matthew was starting to fill the trailer. So of course I joined him and then worked on it all night until I had to leave for Young Womens and Dan had scouts. Then today when he got home from work we finished it! I can't believe it either! We got this thing done fast. And I LOVE it! I was told it would take us all summer, but we are pretty good at moving dirt around! I know its crazy we did this all with a shovel, but its exactly how we want it!

Yes, it was WAY past Devyns bed time. But it was fun to jump on the new tramp!

Camping

Last weekend we went camping with some friends out by Goblin Valley. It was a fun trip to get out and relax in some great weather! The kids had fun running around. Here are a few pictures of our little camp.

Here we are finally arriving to our distination.
Ryan caught a scorpian, and yes it is alive. I believe Dallin found this scary thing. The part that I couldn't believe is that he actually let the thing go! I'm all about smashing creatures like this one.
The boys had a lot of fun catching lizards. Here is the first one they caught. (Notice the lizard is belly up) I think Dallin found this one too, threw a rock on it and then was able to catch it. They think the poor tortured lizard is sleeping. Then yes, they realized the lizard was dead! So they found more lizards, but whenever they found a lizard they called my name to come and catch it. So I caught four more lizards, yes I am the lizard hunter. Then they put them in this bug cage and fed them ants. They were taking care of them.
So whenever we go camping Dan likes to chop all the wood.
It's something he really enjoys.

But the axe didn't last long. Can you see how the metal is all bent up? It didn't chop well after that.

Ryan and Emily, our camping friends. I think we camped in a ghost town. Somewhere that I would usually be too scared to camp. But I felt okay about it. Hopefully we didn't come in contact with too many chemicals. It was an old mining place. Here is our ghost camping neighbors house. Luckily they kept to themselves. Here is part of our campground. Ryan and Emily's tent snaped. But we fixed it for the second night.
Here is Ryan changing his clothes, sorry Ryan I couldn't resist. It was pretty entertaining.

Goblin Valley

Goblin Valley is a fun place. You can just run around where ever you want.
And the kids can just climb on everything. Jacob and the Shark Goblin
