Olson Halloween Party

Sunday night we had a little fun Halloween Party with the Olson Family. I'm just glad that I finally have the costumes together. As you can see the boys really weren't much work but Devyn wanted to be Venus - The Goddess of Love? Ya, she is a creative little girl I don't know where she comes up with it. They have been learning about all the Greek and Roman Gods at school and she really sucks it all in. Just ask her about them she will tell you everything you want to know and more. I was trying to put a costume together for her that actually had on clothes!
Here's the family picture
Dan- Potato Peeler in the National Guard
Me- Oven
Jacob- He wanted to be something scary & this is what he chose
Devyn- Venus/Aphrodite
Ethan- Spiderman (he hates wearing the mask)
All the kids in their costumes

Grandma Georgia with the kids

Son - Father and Daugther - Mother
Fireman - Richard Nixon - Mummy - Good Witch of the North
Ethan loving Grandpa Myron
Trick or Treating around the house
(They made spiders to put their stuff in)

Deer Hunt

So Dan went on the deer hunt this year. It's been a while since he has hunted so I'm glad he went. The boys were thrilled when their dad brought home this head and bags of meat. They thought it was pretty cool. Devyn thought it was disgusting! He didn't even take the camera with him so I made sure I got one when they got home.

Happy Birthday Jacob!

Because my internet was down I wasn't able to post pictures of Jacob growing up through the years. I can't believe how fast he has grown up and when I look at Jacobs younger pictures I realize how much he and Ethan look alike.

Logan Day Trip

So my cousin got married in the Logan Temple yesterday and my sister and I thought it would be fun to drag the kids to Logan and make a little trip out of it. We had a lot of fun.
~
First we headed to the temple and looked for a place to park, they are doing a little construction right now and they had a part of the parking lot blocked off. Just thought this sign was a little bit funny.

Here is the adorable couple Erin & Jake
And the adorable kids that were with us, Ethan was off finding lady bugs.
Jacob caught some lady bugs too
In fact he caught a lot of ladybugs, too bad half of them were dead ones.
Silly Ethan
Devyn mothering her little cousin Ainsley
We went to Willow Park in Logan. Such a cool little park. Well it wasn't quite so little it was kinda of a zoo too. They had monkeys, coyotes, bobcats, birds, turtles, eagles, all sorts of animals in cages which was a lot of fun to see. Only $1 for adults and .50 for kids with an honor box before you walk in. You must stop by if you head up that way.

Here are the kids at the Riter Mansion where the reception was held. They had a lot of fun playing in the leaves most of the time. Until we went inside to enjoy some yummy crepes.

It was a fun day, we also headed to the Gossner Cheese Factory and Pepperidge Farm Factory to get some goods. Fun bonding time with the cousins. Long day, wish we could've stayed the night like we had previously planned but I seemed to have messed everything up.

Sandy Aquarium

Dan and I took the kids to the Sandy Aquarium for Jacobs birthday. It was much smaller than I expected, when I saw the building I had seconds thoughts about going in. But we had been planning on going there for a while now. It was decorated nice inside and the kids did have a lot of fun. But didn't take them very long to run around and see everything. We played with the sting rays half of the time we were in that building.

Here is Jacob driving the boat around. I think he thought it was a big video game, when he realized it was more of just a video than it was a game, he was ready to let Devyn have a turn.
Looking at the upside down jellys through the round tank
Here was an octopus, I wish I could've seen it moving around. The sad part is I took a picture then Dan yelled at me, didn't see the NO FLASH sign. I sure I hope I didn't cause any permanant damage to the poor thing.
Petting the sting rays - notice Jacob is using 2 fingers - good boy
Devyn? Are you using more than 2 fingers?
The big shark tank, I was sure glad to be warned at how small it was. But it was funny because when they would swim up to the glass Ethan would freak out a little. It was pretty funny.

Ethan getting electricuted by the electric eel.
I'm kinda suprised Ethan never fell in the sting ray tank.

Jacobs Birthday

For Jacobs birthday we invited all the grandparents over to have a Salmon dinner (Jacobs request) After he got done eating he ran and sat on the couch begging to open presents. I just took this picture because I thought it was funny to see him sitting on the couch holding a present while we were all still eating dinner.

Legos!

Showing off his presents
Ethan got a belated five dollar birthday present from Grandma Georgia and went to give Grandpa Myron a hug a for it.

Devyn's Baptism

Well my little girl got baptised, it was a special day for her. She couldn't even sleep the night before because she was so excited. It seemed like a busy day for me. That I didn't even get pictures of the special day. These are the only two pictures that I took. I know very sad.
