Girls Weekend

Last year we had a girls weekend and went to the St George homeshows.  It was so much fun and we have decided to make it a tradition.  So this year we headed out again.  We enjoyed some fish tacos at Iggy's Sports Grill we got to see some cool homes and sneek a little further south to play a little Bingo too.  Can't wait til next year, my favorite part was eating yummy food and Nelsons frozen custard - so sad that eating is my favorite thing.
~
We had so much fun and I didn't really take any pictures of the whole trip - so sad.
But on the way home we got stuck in a major snow storm in Beaver and got the second to the last room in town (that we could find) All four of us got to share this king size bed.

There is no one else I would rather snuggle with all night
(except my mister . . . dan)
The best part was that it was Jamies birthday - she got to spend it with us

The only thing I would have changed was to stay in St George instead of BEAVER!
If only we would have known there was no way were going to make it home that night.  I'm sure St George would have been much more fun.  At least we didnt' have to sleep in the gas station like some others though.

Waiting . . . . . and waiting

For dad to get done at the dentist.  I'm so glad I always keep my camera in my purse.  It's amazing at how long you can entertain yourself with one.

 Well . . . . eating donuts helps too

Sleeping out

Since we got sleeping bags for Christmas the kids had been wanting to sleep outside.  They are so lucky to have a dad that will sleep outside with them.  I enjoyed the warm house with Caleb.

Bird Watching

It was a nice Sunday afternoon and we thought we would go for a Sunday drive.  We went out looking to see what kind of birds we could find.  I know sounds fun right?  Jacob is our animal lover and he got a National Audubon Bird Book - Western Region.  It's actually kind of fun to look at them.
~
Well we went out and there was this OLD worn out house with trees around it and we saw TWO bald eagles in it.  The lighting was PERFECT!  I took lots of cool pictures and took pictures of the kids out of the car walking around and pictures of an old cool car.  Then the eagles flew away and I snapped some more cool photos - I was one Happy Girl!  It's been a long time since I have had this much fun taking pictures!
~
Here is the cool old house (when the lighting wasn't as good)
After taking MANY Photos I realized my memory card was NOT in my camera!
A bald eagle that was harder to see but hey - I had to get at least one picture after I found out all the other pictures I took were really never pictures!
One really cool thing that was HARD to see was this Great Horned Owl
Then in the distance we saw all these Bald Eagles!
We could see with the binoculars - too bad we couldn't get closer
 My little girl!

 And there goes the sun!

So Grandpa Myron at 91 years old decides to get married - an occasion I never thought we would have.  But how fun for him to have a companion to keep each other company.  I had to share a few pictures I took of the special day.

Oh my . . . look at the sky!

Okay . . . so my title is a little bit cheesy
I keep my small camera in my purse at ALL times - maybe because I'm not as cool as the rest of you that have a camera built into their phone - I barely even have a phone.   But when I look out and see beauty in the sky I have to snap a photo and I just had to share a few - aren't they beautiful?

Happy Chinese New Year!

The year of the "RABBIT"
It always helps when someone gives me an idea on what to cook for dinner.  The hard part is deciding on what to make (and cleaning it up) not actually the process of making it.  So when Dan reminded me of Chinese New Year I knew what I wanted to make!
~
The next best thing would have been to go OUT for dinner

And Ethan actually ate my dinner
that's always nice!
Even Caleb likes to join in with our meals
I can't get this kid to eat anything I try to feed him
He's independant already
