Just North of Bear Lake is a little town called Bloomington. And if you drive up Bloomington canyon you will get to a short trailhead to hike to Bloomington Lake. It is very beautiful and such a good hike for kids. We came here last year for the first time and decided to go again this year.

Thanks for the post on Bloomington Lake. We were headed for Bear Lake the day I saw your post so I told everybody we should go to Bloomington Lake. We did and it was beautiful! We even saw a moose at one of the ponds before the lake. It was so great! We will have to find out where you go 4 wheeling to find the other moose! Your family is so cute! Looks like you guys had a great time!
