Since Ethan got a new fishing pole for Easter we decided we better test it out. He was so excited to get the bait on those hooks!
Devyn was the first one to catch a fish. It is funny though because she told Dan she didn't want to fish before we left. But as soon as we got there she changed her mind.
She was so proud of her Albino fish
She wouldn't leave it alone either. After we put it on the chain she pulled it in and out of the water several times. She wanted to make sure it didn't get off that chain. She even had Ethan helping her watch it.
Dan is rebaiting the hook while Devyn sits in the background with a stick poking at it's eyeballs. She was suprised and how hard it's eyes were. The poor fish! I hope it was out of it's misery.
Jacob caught a fish after her. He did it ALL himself. He cast it out, realed it in, and even got the hook out of the fishes mouth all by himself.
This is the second fish he caught. But he caught this one with his HANDS! So of course he went and let it back in the water.
Ethan never caught a fish. He wouldn't let anyone help him cast. He just put the line in the water at the edge and tried catching the fish he could see, like one of the ones Jacob used his hands for. After a while he just wanted on dads shoulders to watch. And we went home with a total of two fish this day, but they sure tasted good!

Wow! He caught that with his hands! What a talented kid!
impressive jacob!! Where did you go fishing? that place doesn't look familiar. Maya and Elin got a fishing pole for easter last year, and they still haven't used it. It looks like everyone had a good time.
Looks fun! Spanish Fork Reservoir put to good use.
This was at Spanish Fork Reservoir. It was our first time fishing there and the kids had fun. KayeLynne, I guess we need to get together and go fishing together so your girls can learn what their poles are used for. Poor things!
Albino Fish? Did Spanish Fork get them for a discount? I thought those were one in a million and you guys got three?
